How marriage timing is read in Vedic astrology

Two layers are read together. First the dasha: a period is favourable when its planet is connected to marriage in your chart, the lord of the 7th house, a natural significator such as Venus or Jupiter, or a planet placed in the 7th. Then transits: Jupiter and Saturn both influencing the 7th house or its lord at the same time (the double-transit technique) marks the stretches when those periods are most likely to bear fruit.

Tirth ranks the windows in the next 10 years by how many of these agree, and shows the reasons for each. They are favourable periods, not a predicted date.

How it works

Every tool uses the same chart and the same classical rules as your full Kundli report, so the results always agree with your reading.

Frequently asked questions

Can astrology tell the exact date of marriage?

No responsible reading gives a date. Classical timing points to periods when marriage is more likely to be supported; choices and circumstances decide the rest.

What is the double transit?

A timing technique in which Jupiter and Saturn both occupy or aspect the 7th house, or the sign of its lord, at the same time.

Does Manglik Dosha delay marriage?

It is traditionally weighed in matching rather than timing. The report shows your Manglik status and links to the full Dosha Report.
