What is a dosha?

In Vedic astrology a dosha is a planetary combination traditionally linked with a particular difficulty: Manglik Dosha with friction in marriage, Kaal Sarp Dosha with obstacles and delays, Pitru Dosha with ancestral patterns. Most charts have at least one, and classical texts list many factors that soften or cancel them.

What this report checks

Eight doshas: Manglik (from the Lagna, Moon and Venus), Kaal Sarp, Pitru, Guru Chandal, Ganda Moola, Shrapit, Kalathra and Ghata. For each one present, you see why it forms in your chart, which classical exceptions soften it, whether it is active in the planetary period you are running now, and the traditional remedies.

Every tool uses the same chart and the same classical rules as your full Kundli report, so the results always agree with your reading.

Frequently asked questions

Is having a dosha bad?

Not by itself. Doshas are common, their effect depends on the rest of the chart and the period running, and classical texts describe many cancellations. Read them as tendencies to work with.

What does 'active in your current period' mean?

A dosha is classically more noticeable when the planet that forms it runs your current Mahadasha or Antardasha. The report flags that case first.

Are the remedies guaranteed to work?

No. They are traditional practices (mantras, charity, worship) offered for spiritual guidance, not as guaranteed outcomes.
