The Laxminarayan Temple, or Birla Mandir as it's popularly known, is a cherished site in the national capital, Delhi. Constructed by the esteemed Birla family, this temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver in the Hindu trinity, and his consort, Goddess Lakshmi, the embodiment of wealth and purity. The temple was inaugurated in 1939 by Mahatma Gandhi, who set a precedent that the temple would welcome devotees from all castes, a revolutionary idea at the time.
