Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist white-domed stupa located on a hilltop in Changspa, Leh district, Ladakh. It was built to commemorate 2,500 years of Buddhism and to promote peace and harmony. The stupa offers panoramic views of the Leh valley and surrounding Himalayan ranges. It is a two-level structure, with the first level housing a gold-embellished statue of the Buddha and the Dharmachakra, and the second level depicting the life, nirvana, and death of Buddha.
