The ritual and its significance
Durga Saptashati Path (Vrihad) – Vishesh Puja is a highly powerful and elaborate personal ritual dedicated to Goddess Durga, involving the complete recitation of Durga Saptashati along with extended rituals, invocations, and devotional procedures. This Vrihad Vishesh Puja is performed to seek divine protection, victory over severe obstacles, removal of fear, and awakening of inner strength. When conducted in Ayodhya with personal Sankalp by senior Acharyas, this puja is considered one of the most potent Devi worship practices in Sanatan Dharma.
Puja samagri: Samagri (Items Required) Goddess Durga idol or image, Durga Saptashati text, Gangajal or purified water, Panchamrit items, red flowers, kumkum, akshat, red cloth or asana, incense sticks, ghee diya, coconut, sacred thread, kalash or copper vessel, naivedya such as fruits or sweets. Vidhi (Puja Procedure) The puja begins with an elaborate Vishesh Sankalp taken in the devotee’s name and gotra, clearly stating intentions for protection, victory, and strength. Purification rituals and Kalash Sthapana are performed, followed by invocation of Goddess Durga and associated forms. Senior Acharyas then chant the complete Durga Saptashati with disciplined rhythm, precise pronunciation, and devotional focus. Additional prayers and offerings are performed at key junctures, followed by powerful concluding rituals. The puja ends with Devi Aarti and Mahaan Ashirvad, seeking fearless living and divine protection.

Trusted across Bharat
From devotees who have travelled and worshipped with Tirth.
Been living in US for 20+ years. I always wanted to visit Kashi properly. Tirth helped me do everything without any mess. Clean hotel, proper darshan, and even a purohit who explained things nicely. It felt very special and smooth. Big thanks to Tirth team – I already told my cousins in India to try this.
I went alone to Ayodhya and honestly I was bit scared. But everything was so well planned by Tirth. I didn’t have to think much. I got peaceful time at Sarayu and Mandir darshan was calm too. I really felt safe and peaceful. Will go again maybe next year.
Tirth ne sach mein tension hata diya. Family ke saath Ayodhya jana tha – aur darshan ka planning, guide, aur stay sab kuch inhone set kar diya. No pushing, no confusion. Bacchon ko bhi history samajh aayi. Paise vasool.
