The Phalguna Mela also called Khatu Shyam Ji Fair is an annual Hindu religious festival in Khatu Shyam Ji Temple in Rajasthan. It is devoted to Lord Krishna in the form of Khatu Shyam Ji and is celebrated between 9-12 days during the month of Phalguna of the Hindu calendar. The festival includes superb procession (Shyam Yatra), day-to-day darshan, special poojas, cultural exhibitions, and customary rites. Believers of all over India are involved in singing bhajans, using musical instruments and other religious activities. The festival is a colourful celebration of religion, culture and tradition which reflects the rich heritage of the Rajasthan.
