Is the ₹2,49,999 price per person or for the group?+
It is ₹2,49,999 per person, on twin sharing basis. A single supplement of ₹50,000 extra applies if you need a single room. Children below 2 years travel free with no separate seat. Children 2 and above are charged a full ticket with no concession.
What happens if weather delays the helicopter?+
Weather is the biggest variable for helicopter yatras, especially at Kedarnath. If flying is not possible on a scheduled day, we wait for the next available window within the package duration. If 5 consecutive days of flying fail entirely, a refund is given as per our force majeure policy. We recommend booking return flights from Dehradun after 6 PM on Day 6 to absorb any delays.
What is the IRCTC shuttle at Kedarnath?+
From Sersi/Phata to Kedarnath, our charter helicopter can only fly to Phata. The final leg to Kedarnath top uses IRCTC-operated shuttle helicopters. This is shared with all pilgrims and the wait can be 2–4 hours at Phata. Always carry warm clothes and snacks. The good news: it's a 5-minute flight to the top, and the VIP darshan is arranged for our group.
What is the maximum luggage allowed?+
Each passenger may carry only one bag weighing 3–5 kg inside the helicopter. Larger suitcases must be stored at the hotel cloakroom in Dehradun. The aviation company strictly enforces this. We provide each passenger a complimentary branded duffel bag sized for the journey.
Is accurate body weight really mandatory?+
Yes — absolutely. The helicopter has a maximum payload of 450 kg per flight. Every passenger must submit their correct weight at booking. Submitting wrong weight may lead to being denied boarding on the day of travel, with no refund. Please be honest — even a small discrepancy matters at these altitudes.
