Why does the price vary so much by group size?+
Vehicle cost is the largest variable. A Dzire for 2 people costs nearly the same daily rate as a Tempo Traveller for 12 — so per-person cost drops dramatically as the group grows. The best value is always at 10–12 passengers sharing a Tempo Traveller. If your group is smaller, we can combine you with another group departing the same dates.
Can senior citizens (70+) do this 11-day Char Dham?+
Yes, with proper support. We arrange doli/palki at Yamunotri and Kedarnath, pony service where needed, and can arrange a medical escort. The itinerary has built-in rest days. We've completed Char Dham with pilgrims up to age 84. Share the group's age profile when you enquire so we can tailor the pacing.
The prices say Ex-Delhi — what does that mean?+
It means the package begins and ends in Delhi. We depart Delhi at 11 PM on Day 1 and the vehicle drives overnight to Haridwar, arriving early morning. This saves one hotel night. You do not need to arrange any separate Delhi–Haridwar transport; the vehicle departure from Delhi is included.
What exactly is excluded that I should budget for separately?+
The main extras to budget for: 5% GST on the total package, pony/palki/helicopter at Kedarnath if you don't want to trek (₹2,000–₹10,000 per person), travel insurance (strongly recommended, ~₹500–₹2,000/person), tips for drivers and guides (₹100–₹200/day is standard), and any personal shopping. Yatra registration and all transport fuel/tolls are included.
Can we extend the trip or add extra days?+
Yes — we can add extra nights at any destination, include additional sightseeing (like Chopta, Tungnath, Deoria Tal near Kedarnath), or customise hotel upgrades. WhatsApp us your wishlist and we'll quote accordingly. Any extensions beyond Day 11 due to weather or your own preference are charged at actual cost.
